Yes, you can make it manual. Do a search on auto to manual in the Camry forum and you will find all you need. Also, talk to Tony the Tiger, who is a well known user on this forum. He has done the swap and gone much, much further with a turbo setup. Mad props to Triple T!:thumbup:

well TRD makes a supercharger for the 1mz, so besides that your going the custom route, and unless you can do the majority of the work yourself be prepared to spend lots and lots of money. so much money in fact it wouldn't really be worth it.

or a mr2 mkii with the 1mzfe supercharged and Nitrous Express... that's what one 2 member did and won the SCC by a long shot.
