The pics are barely good enough for me to think it is a Toyota, relatively late model. I'm guessing a Corolla based on looks. I know there are lots more folks who know much more than I about model years, tail lamp assembly shapes, all that sort of stuff to ID a make, model, and year.

This is just for curiousity and fun, btw, in case you're wondering. The pic was posted in a reddit forum (r/idiotsincars) for laughs and entertainment.

But speaking of curiousity, I'm curious about those front quarter panel louvers. Are they OEM? Are they (possibly) functional?

Couldn't tell you but no the lovers are cheap stick-on crap they sell on eBay and the like.

Oy. Got THAT wrong! Thanks to all for identifying it! Now, I hope y'all will forgive me if I just hide for a while, until the embarrasment dies down! I thought I was pretty safe, based on the badge, in spite of no clear shot of it.

The model characteristices match that Kia much better!
