On the positive side, it has the orthopedically designed driver seat. That seat made it possible to drive our 90 Camry and I'm 6'4" (or I was at the time). Get licensing/sticker records because it's easy enough to create sham miles. And don't buy until an experienced mechanic has looked it over.

If the miles are legit, then it has to have been parked/not run or tortured with 1-mile runs to the supermarket. No doubt the story, whatever it is, is interesting.

Definitely check for rust, it's a Northeast car.

$1k seems a lot for its age, unless it has new brakes, radiator, and timing belt or other (positive) mitigating factors.

It’s clearly been wrecked as the entire front end has been replaced. Right down to the poorly color matched paint, and 1990.5 front end.
Yep. One piece bumper and TOYOTA logo.

also mixmatch hubcaps. Yikes!
