check the stickies for the general camry discussion, the repair manuals are posted there. for a general how-to though, here you go:

*i advise you to lift the front end up before starting... it makes accessing things much easier.

1. remove all bolts holding the splashguards to the bumper (all the bottom bolts). and yes, remove the one that looks like its just holding the wheel well splashguard and the engine splashguard together. should be 9 bolts i believe, i'm not sure.

2. either remove the wheel well splashguard or remove enough bolts and clips so that you can access the bolt holding the top edge of the bumper to the fender. the wheel well splashguard is clipped to the bumper, do not forget to remove the clip and pull the splashguard out of the bumper clip "lock". do both sides, obviously.

3. remove the top bolts and clips located at the top of the bumper, under the grill location.

4. pull out the bumper at both fenders, don't be afraid to pull hard to release the clips. you should now be able to remove the front bumper.

as for the headlights, they are held in by two bolts and two clips. remove the two bolts, then pull up on the headlight to disengage the bottom clip. then pull out on the headlight to disengange the "pin" clip on the back of the headlight. you might have to pull pretty hard to get it off... be wary of sharp edges!

can you send us the link to a repair manual? so i can see diagrams on exactly what I'm doing. And BTW, I'm not trying to be a thread stealer Lol
i did sort of point you in the right direction... i can't do all the work for you. as i recall, i replied saying that you could find the repair manuals in the sticky section of the general camry discussion forum! :slap:

the OP seems to have found it ok:lol:
