hi guys, first post, I tried a search and came up empty, I'm kind of sure these questions have been asked, if so please direct me to the links, if not, then maybe you can tell me;

I have a 96 rav, 200000 miles of which I put on 15000 of them

in all this while, my complete repair list includes the following;

1 set of tires

1 set of front breaks

quite a few oil changes

one tune up

dozens of windshield wipers

it is incredible how reliable this car is, I can't believe a car can just go on and on without needing repair

anyway, can I mount a composite snow plough to this thing or is it too light, not enough power, not heavy duty enough?

second question;

and I tow this car in neutral cross country, all four wheels on the ground?

thank you very much in advance

"too light, not enough power, not heavy duty enough"

All of the above.
Snow weighs a lot. You'll burn out the engine and trans. A four cylinder barely has enough torque to move the vehicle, let alone a few hundred pounds (or more) of snow.

Plowing even takes a heavy toll on so called "heavy duty" gas engine 4x4s. Diesel is best for plowing, mucho low end torque. Durable engines.

Can't respond to the other part of your question.
