I have a MT500 Seamless DTM Muffler on my gen3 camry...And i basically want to know will the MT602B Fireball Style Muffler with Slant-Cut Tip fit my camry because it wont have any place for hangers will i have to weld them on? I have 1 concern, the MT602b is the black chrome muffler

Any muffler shop can put hangers on for you its no problem.
Yes, it will require some welding....
Get your car on a lift if you can.
Get your old muffler off.
When its off, take some steel rod or something.
And put them through the Rubber things (what are they called?)
That the old muffler was hanging on.
make sure they are bent to they hook in.
Have a buddyhold the muffler up where and how u want it.
Weld the rods directly to the muffler.
Now your muffler is mounted.
Im sure you can figure out the rest.

This is how I installed my muffler.
Its not really ghetto, but it definately works.

You're best to get a muffler shop to put the muffler on. I'll post pics of the canister style muffler my g/f put on her Accord to show you how they'll most likely install it.

Here are the pictures... mind you this is on my an Accord but the concept is the same for all cars when not purchasing new exhaust piping back or a custom catback designed for your car.

Here is what it looks like from the outside:

Here is where the piping connects to the factory piping:

Here is how they hung it on this car.. they hung it differently on my Altima but this way is a lot more stable:

This is to show the welds:

Hope this helps :)

thanx alot guy!
it won't ruin the look of the muffler will it? it is the black chrome style. Hey one more question if that is how they will weld the muffler on..how do u do that if it is a carbon fiber muffler? can u weld on that?
If you want to preserve the black look of the muffler, try and get a bracket that tightens around the muffler.. At the end of that bracket theres a whole, in which you can hang the muffler anyway you want... Does anyone know the bracket i'm talking about..?
Heres what the bracket looks like.

Thanks alot ptballer, the bracket replaces the welding the hangers option...
I don't like that bracket because you'd be able to see it from the side :(. I think that on the carbon fiber muffler that if you sand down the top of the muffler (the part that isn't visible once installed) you'd be able to weld it there... or just weld at the back of the muffler where the inlet is.
