canon exhaust on gen5

anyone done it before? i'm planning to get a canon on my 2003 gen 5 camry sportivo 4cyl auto in around 2-3 weeks.

i want the canon to be slanted outwards and slightly up. my friend has recommended a xforce canon and i kinda like it...its like a perfect cylinder barrel and then a smaller ~4"concentric cylinder for the tip but the exhaust hole is like half the size...

i don't have enough money for a whole exhaust system so i'll see what happens...i'm hoping to get my 0-100kphtime down to around 9.5 from 10.6 with the full exhaust system

any pictures of this so called... canon exhaust? just want to see how it looks like, since we're from different countries.
I like their cameras. Can't say much about their exhausts. :hammer:
canon is a camera brand...but canon does not make exhausts..its just the type of exhaust...lol what are you going on about?

well i just want some pics of the exhaust on a gen5 :)
Try looking into an Aero-tubine!

Aero-Turbine Performance Mufflers

I did the research and decided that the Aero-Turbine was for me. I've got a 2004 SE Camry and it definitely improved my performance. It also increased my throttle response. But the sound level is too loud for me so I'm going to pick up a resonator.
Down Under????

I just thought of something.:D

You're from the land Down Under. The land of the Sportivo Camry. How much does the Sportivo Gen5 Camry grille cost??? If you look into the Aero-Turbine and like it, maybe we could do a swap.
You ship me a Sportivo Grille, I ship you a Aero-Turbine Muffler.

Just a thought mate.

i noticed the muffler/exhaust you purchased isn't very far from where i live... however, the muffler/exhaust looks very fancy, haven't too many of those around
lol
thanks for the website but thats not my style...i have shown the canon exhaust that i like and i just want to know if people have put canons on their gen5s...

my friend told me the sportivo grill is AU$120 unpainted!!! i'm planning to get one when i have money.
Aero Turbine (Look into?)

1MZ-FE,

The title of my reply was a double take, because I wish you all could look into my Aero-Turbine muffler.

Looking into the 4" Rolled Chrome Slant Cut Tip you will see nothing but air. You can see straight thru to the 2.25" piping coming from the cat. ????

I know that doesn't make sense. Because we all know that an uncapped exhaust will wake everyone in the entire neighborhood. Yet at idle you can't tell if my car is running, you have to look at the tach. Open the windows and you hear a soft purr.

It is definitely a straight thru muffler with no packing at all. Like the website says, all they do is speed up the slow outer air and re-introduce it back into the center. Some how it cancels out most of the sound.

Like I said before, I was looking for performance gains and that is what was acheived. If you get an open exhaust thus lowering your back pressure in the exhaust system you sometimes lose low end power. But beleive me when I say it actually improve my low end power and throttle response (of course my high end as well). My SE V6 exhibits more torque steer than ever before.

Since it came out with 240 ft. lbs. of torque from the factory. And a Toyota Tacoma V6 increased 18 ft. lbs. on the Aero-Turbine website I'm guessing that I now have about 260 ft. lbs. of torque.

My SE pulls like a mother when I get onto the freeway. When I say pull I mean it in a good way.:D

So if you want performance gains look into an Aero-Turbine (I mean actually look into one:lol: )

PS - I don't work for Aero-Turbine, just wanted to pass on my experiances to help some of you.

Wasted my time I coulda shown you!

1MZ-FE,

Duh, I got a digital camera so hears what I'm talking about.

Just to let you know my neighbors must think I'm crazy. I'm in Las Vegas, it's 4:00AM and I'm lying in my driveway next to the curb taking a picture of my exhaust pipe?

The little piece of shinny silver on the bottom is where they cut off my old exhaust. That's the cut end where it enters the muffler.
