I'll be doing a timing belt change. I ordered a kit from Rock Auto. It contained what I needed, but something extra. WHAT IS THIS...? I think it might have something to do with the oil pump, so maybe it's a bonus extra...? Since I'll be down in there, is THIS what I''d need to do the oil pump also. If so, how much extra work is there for that, and if you have experience doing that is there anything subtle to watch out for? I have never done the oil pump, never.

Forgot to add - I live alone in a remote place and when I change the timing belt I won't have any way to drive to AutoZone. If it occurs to you there's something missing there for the oil pump please let me know so I don't have to rollerblade super far..! Oh, and what is the size for the socket for the crankshaft after I get the Harmonic Balancer off..? Do I need anything other than 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 and 22 mm...? Is there are 21 mm that come in there, anywhere..?

2nd photo is an "oil pump to the engine" gasket, only needed if you take the whole oil pump off. And if doing that you need to remove the sump too. You don't need it for a standard tbelt job.

In a regular tbelt job you split the oil pump in two, you take off the top plate which has a cog in it.

replace the harmonic balancer...? y, whaddya think..?
Should be fine.

You don't need an impact gun, just a long handle on a 19mm 1/2 socket and some rope to tie the thing down to the LCA or other part. Take the spark plugs leads off and give a quick turn on the key.

The harmonic balancer is almost always reusable. Unless it’s been drenched in oil from oil leaks for a long time. That can degrade the rubber in it.
