I kno this is a toyota site but i have a question that i think u guys might be able to answer.

My parents have a 2002 2.4 liter turbo volvo and it shakes real bad at speeds over 55. I took it to the dealer and the did all the alignment stuff and balanced the wheels but it still shakes. does anyone know were this is from and how i can fix it.

o and about a month ago i was driving it and the person in front of me got in a accident so i slamed on the brakes real hard. i dont kno if this screwed up anything.

we also got cheaper tires for the car so that might add to the shakeing but i dont think that is the only reason be cause the shakeing is pretty bad and really anoying.

thanks for the help

Try torquing the lugnuts to specs and see if that works. Many times when new tires are put on they don't get torqued correctly making the tires shake, but if you have crappy tires then they could be the main cause of the problem.
