Help!!! my husbands 1994 Toyota Camary was rough running anytime it was cold. ususally you drive it for a few minutes it kicks into gear and starts to drive normal. But this morning it was sluggish, spuddering, and had zero get up and go. I replaced the rotor and cap because upon inspection it was oily inside the cap and because it's good practice i also did the plugs and wires. I also cleaned the throttle body, pulled the TBS and checked for cracks and put that back on. Now my husbands car won't start. WTF!!!!
Help

if you have oil inside the distributor, you probably have a shorted coil which you'll need to replace after you pull the disto and put a new seal on it.
what's a tbs btw? tps maybe?

I second the recommendation to look at the coil. My camry would stutter on startup when it was wet outside and it was due to a nice crack in the coil letting moisture in. Replaced the coil and the problem went away.
