so i have a new motor/ 5 speed tranny swap. next comes the re-gear. but my carb needs to be rebuilt. before i do that, i hear a lot of you guys have webers? should i upgrade my carb?

I take it your a wheeler...

But yea, get a new carb. Ive gone to the limit of all you can get out of a factory 22R carb. (power wise)

Its not untill you get a new one that you will realize that you wont miss the factory one.

Get a 32/36, or if you want that edge get a 38. Both are very decent carbs. I run a Holley 500. But ive put several webers on R motors.

thank you so much! im gonna have to assume it will mess with the smog though right? any ways to get around that?
