I've been hearing awesome things about a spacer for a carburetor that's like a TBS but carburetor's benefit from them way more. Can I get one of these for my 22R?

There is a spacer under the carb now, or at least there should be. It's purpose in life is to keep engine heat from boiling the fuel in the bowl and to possibly provide some other port connections for the EGR system. Other than that, there is no other advantage to the spacer.

You can get spacers that claim to help fuel atomization by creating a vortex.

theory could work on a carb, throttle body spacers (unless its like the old chevy TBI) don't do squat. All air vortex is lost as the air goes down each intake runner.
