I have the cargo cross bars and they have stickers on them that say "50 lbs maximum". The cross bars are exactly like the bed rails except they are welded to parts that connect them to the cleat tie downs. hope this helps.

I'm wondering how strong they are???
I want to mount a hi-lift jack (60 lbs or so). Is there enough room to drill and mount 2 - 1/2" bolts that are about 4"-6" long.
I'm wanting to make it easily removable with the sliding tie-downs.
If anyone has a single bar they don't use and want to sell one, e-mail me.
