Carina 1.6 16v
Hi, i need a bit of help with my dads carina e 1.6 16v, it has the 4a-fe engine(i think thats it).
Anyway it has some sort of alarm fitted but my dad doesn't have a remote or anything, the alarm has the siren on the inner wing, and the brain is in the passenger footwell, it has ultrasonics and an LED. Has anyone got the same alarm, if so how does it work, is there a switch somewhere, or does it work off the central locking.
Also, how much is a standard backbox for the 1.6 engine, the original one is starting to rust, but my dad doesn't want any aftermarket exhaust, he wants the nice and quiet standard one.
