I have a 2008 Matrix (really a Vibe). The cd player will not load a cd, but if I push one in manually, I can eject it. However, even if I push one in manually, it won't play. Has anyone seen this problem and know what it is?

Sounds like the 'drive motor" has failed but I've read others that used Electronic spray cleaners like CRC makes and with a few quick sprays in the loading slot and time to air out a bit the cd started to work. Others just say, buy a new unit. FWIW, just don't use your favorite CD as the guinea pig!
