What cell phone mounts do you people use in your cars? I don't want the suction cup type or one that lays on the dash. The design of the round air vents doesn't lend itself to that style mount either.

What are the options?

I realized I posted this in the wrong section. I will repost if someone can tell me how to delete this one, or maybe the mods can move it.

So sorry, I completely forgot about doing it on my trip. Here are the 2 I used for my trip.

This one plugs into my cig lighter and has a USB plug too for power. It's magnetic and came with a small metal plate that slips into my case on the back of the phone.


This one is a suction cup mount that fits my iPhone 6+. I used this one for rotating sideways to take pics while driving.

Thanks for the pics. I have a 2010 Matrix so due to the location of the cig mount, I don't think that one would work. Not really interested in a windshield mount either.

I don't generally even use a cell phone mount as I just set it in my cup holder or on the passenger seat. I had these for when I drove across the country and they worked perfectly for that trip.
