u won't be able to find it much cheaper given ur age and lack of driving experience..ur best bet would be to insure the car under ur parents name and list u as a secondary driver....keep ur record clean and when u hit 25 it'll pay off.....
good god....10gs for an ae86???

that's insane....

if you can't do what q said, then at least stick to your parent's company under your parent's plan even if you're a primary driver, because they can most likely get you the best deal if your parents have been with them for a while......

but yeah...as q said tho....17 means no experience, and that counts as a lot against you....

10G a year for insurance.... man.. sometimes i'm glad i'm old... hee hee... no pun....

just saying something.... boy with that $$$$$ u could get a new car every year...

sorry once again...

ooh.. forgot. i did source ard for cheap a$$ insurance when i bought my car,

for me... no SS no. and just recieved my USA license, and 1st time doing left hand drive...

the company i went for... www.esurance.com

cost me 400 for 6 mths to insure my baby.

Recently a friend of mine saved $500 using PC (presidents choice). I was going to switch but my company (wawanesa) just lowered my rate by $400 a year. I think insurance companies have to lower in preparation for the laws that the Ont gov't wants to bring out to keep insurance rates lower.
ERRR.....damn....is there such as summer plans where i insure the car only during the non snowing months?

i wanna insure my car so i can go to the oldschool meet. haha :)

i tried PC auto. their system is down, can't give me a quote! and TD insurance systhem tells me download some stupid thing so fill out some form

hmm...thanks guys!
How much does insurance drop when a person hits 25?
I'd have to see if I still have the papers, but for me it was alot (I'm thinking around $600)

Of course, I bought a house and had a kid that year too which helps as well.

My insurance literally got cut in HALF when I hit 25, even with a speeding ticket and two wrecks. 50 bucks a month, whOOt!

My parents ,when they drove my camry they paid like 30 usd a month now with me under ther drivin the camry its like 220 usd a month. big difference only because im 16. it sux.
My parents are getting AARP insurance, and I don't think I can pass for 55

yes there is something available....when my car goes in winter storage...i only put fire/theft coverage....its around 30 a month for me....full coverage only when car is on the road...but keep in mind.....don't cancel ur insurance totally....if its gone for six months or longer at any one time....insurance companies will give u hassles.....they are money grabbing son's of bitches....just like the gov't, banks...and gas companies.....bastards......
mr2... 30 a month for fire and theft?!!? statefarm only charges like 9$ a month (and there the most ass raping, anal tearing young driver ins company ever!)
Try AAA ???? My Parents pay for my insurance around $2000 a year. It's been three years since. I'm 19 now so yeah. It includes both my parents and me and my mom drives a Copper Metallic Infiniti FX35.

My advice. Use your G.P.A It'll surely help you a lot.

what do you mean by don't cancel ur insurance totally....if its gone for six months or longer at any one time....insurance companies will give u hassles.

you mean if you i leave it not totally canceled for more than 6 months, the companies will start being a jackass?
