Ok I need some advice maybe some help.
Today I was running some arrands and had my 2 dogs with me in the truck and one got sick (Great Dane) and shit (the creamy runny kind:eek:) all over the carpet in the back seat. Somehow she missed the seat and the mats so now I have creamy dog shit all over my carpet in the back seat.
Should I rent a steam cleaner or try those spot shot carpet things or a couple of sprays with the carwash pressure gun? Do I let it dry or do it when moist? HELP

PS. I have a Great Dane for sale if anyone wants one. jk

just clean it when its wet using paper towels to get the bulk of it then clean it with hosehold pet stain remover like resolve pet stain remover . you are probably going to have to reclean it a few times but it will come out . With a great dane that must be one hell of a deuce !

I've used a liquid enzyme cleaner designed for this type of cleaning called Four Paws Wee-Wee. Primarily use it on the house carpet if one of the pups does something, but have had to use it in my vehicles on occasion... On of my pups did the same thing a not too long ago, and I used it on that. The enzyme somehow breaks down biological stuff (blood, poop, piss, puke, and would probably even work on Monica L.'s dress). After that I shampoo'd the carpet. Worked just fine, and left no visible stain.

It's a clear liquid, and you just spray it on, let sit for a few minutes, then do some scrubbing with a brush. Blot, then repeat as needed. It never messed up the carpet color. I bought it at a pet store.

Good luck!

PS, I agree, no pictures are necessary!

The enzyme cleaner if often slow to work. I spray a light coat on,then leave it to work when I'm not around.

I'd clean this as hard as possible with spot shot, steam cleaner, whatever till it looks clean, then put the enzyme on after it looks clean.

Hey jimmytaco,

Sounds quite Messy!?! Well first off what color is your carpet? Clean up as much excess as you can with protection on!!! Then try some carpet spot remover...then spray the Animal Enzyme Cleaner on the spot if you get some...Vinegar may also work, but make sure it does not discolor the carpet. And when all is done poor some baking soda on the spot to put up any extra moister…let stand, then vacuum.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Personally I would just let some degreaser (purple power etc.) soak, then scrub with a good carpet brush. Then just take a damp rag and wrap it around youe hand and scrub until it come up. try and wipe it lightly.
