cleaning engine bays.

i just wanted to know how does everyone keep you engine bays so freaking clean. I was thinking about getting it cleaned by these people who clean cars cause they offer engine cleaning for 15$ But i have no idea how clean its going to be. So i was thinking of doing it myslef. But there are certain spots that i don't want to touch.

my gen5 is 1 year old

i wipe all the parts with a cloth to get the dust off...every week or 2
and thats all.
heh

hopefully my engine bay will still look new in 4 years time

...This is lke the third engine cleaning thread in the last month...

SEARCH, but imma be nice and tell u...Spray ur engine bay with simple green and let it sit a bit (5-10 min). Then take ur garden hose or what ever and spray it off.

Some ppl buy engine degreaser which they say works pretty well.
