I did some digging around the blower motor, and I found something similar to the resistor in the second link I posted, however it is not located directly in the evap housing like it is in the celica. I was looking for a way to clean it, I guess I will try cleaning it through the center vents to get rid of the gym bag odor I have when I turn on my AC.

I'm guessing you've already checked that the evaporator drain isn't clogged. When I go through the annual cabin air filter changes, I vacuum the system through the filter opening before I install the new filter. I have had good luck with a product called "Frigi-Fresh" http://www.bgprod.com/products/climatecontrol.html for killing evaporator mold odor, and I spray that into the evaporator when I change the cabin filter.
