Ehh, what?Shimmies can be sliding.
Would you say that what you experience is similar to what i described previously? Does the problem replicate for you if you follow the steps i explained?Clunk is a better description. I feel I've gotten use to it as its not as annoying as when I first noticed it. Was a concern to me because I had read on here that they had the same problem and took it to a dealer and they needed to take apart the dashboard to get to the problem. Is this a common issue with the 11gen?
Ah ok. Keep us posted please. I haven't mentioned it to my dealer yet simply because its not interfering with anything yet. I intended to mention it last time but it clean slipped my mind. Plus, i dont brake much, i have a 1hr commute to and from work every day so i tend to just drive by routine. It does I'm going see if I notice it again because I sorta have ignored it and haven't payed much attention to it. I'm not due for service for about another month I will mention it to them.
Lol. Oknever mind I don't got the issue (smiles)
Hello everyone. I'm experiencing a clicking sound at low rpm when I brake. It can be annoying is it something that needs to get replaced or a major concern? I did a search and different things come up. Anyone else delt with this?
Ahh ok ill have to check that. I dont think mine is in the pedal though, it feels like its shuddering through the firewall from somewhere else. Something in the linkage? Idkpads are moving bend the tabs or edges to stop the shaking. why I said shims they stop the shaking.
Until you know what you got you will need to be more clear good luck with your brake issueAhh ok ill have to check that. I dont think mine is in the pedal though, it feels like its shuddering through the firewall from somewhere else. Something in the linkage? Idk
Mine is definitely audible only from inside the cabin. Maybe if you got under it you could hear it, but standing outside the car, no. Only when brake is depressed past half or 60%, and its a single *Clunk* that i can feel come from around the firewall area and feedback to my foot in the brake pedal. Is the clicking inside or outside the cabin? I asked about the brakes clicking during my test drive when I bought my car and the sales person told me that the clicking is the brake assist kicking in and it's totally normal.
