Do cold brakes always squeak?

I had my front 2 brake pads replaced at a mobile and they said my back brakes were 50% worn.

A week after my front Brake pad change, my car is starting to squeak in the morning for like 2 minutes everyday again. I asked the mobile guy whats up and he just told me its cold brakes and i shouldnt worry about it until it squeaks when its warm.

Should i really just ignore it?!

Hopefully, the shop used the proper "goop" that is applied between the pads and the shims between them and the brake cylinder. You could ask. When you had the pads replaced I suspect that you did not (actually my preference also) have the rotors turned or replaced. If so, the brakes are just now beginning to wear down to the imperfections of the rotor. It isn't unusual when you just replace the pads for them to squeak. Even turning the rotors isn't necessarily effective. Turned rotors will tend to distort again. The best answer for squeaking is new pads and new rotors.
