alright i have a 07 taco and when its cold in the morning and i have to move my truck with our letting it warm up, it makes a growling noice that is pretty loud and sound like its coming from the front. It only does this whenever the truck is in gear i thought it was the breaks at first but it continues to do it after i start moving. The dealer told me that all cars do that its just thick transmission fluid...YA RIGHT. Anyone else have this problem??

Is the AC or Defroster on? turn it off next time BEFORE you start it up and see if that Fixes it. If its not that I have no fugen idea.

Many have heard a Clatter from there only on first start up's It lasts like 3-5 seconds and sounds like your valves are shot to hell then stop as fast as it came.
maybe that it doesnt last long but it only does it when its in drive or reverse if i throw it in neutral ats stops and i soon as i put it backin gear it start again

Ohh ok its not the AC then. Search Air box rattle or intake rattle. I think there is a TSB for what you hear.

I believe this is the Airbox vibration problem, just get a piece of rubber and cushion where the airbox touches sheetmetal.

i should do what i said, i have that problem and yet i still am too lazy to find a peice of rubber to stick in there lol
