I want to replace the factory radio on my 2005 Matrix XR with a new touchscreen radio (with navigation).
However, from what I understand, it can be challenging to connect the wires since the existing wires are different colors than the wires on the new stereo.
Does anyone have a chart that shows how the wires should be connected?

Welcome to the site Fred.

I would highly recommend you head to TIS. Click the link in my signature and it will take you to a page that has the web site info and such for TIS. The cost is minimal and you can grab all the wire diagrams for your Matrix, all the repair and inspect field service manual info, etc. Someone may have an official wire diagram (EWD) but I gaurantee you will get what you need by hitting the official Toyota site for those.

If you still have the factory radio plugs there are plug n play adapter harness available.
