Hey Gang,

I'm looking to see how much and where I could find color keyed side mirrors and door handles for my 06 Double Cab. I know I have seen some threads here and there, but not sure what to search for.

Not sure that there is anything on replacing the mirrors. I know there is somone on cardomain that did it.

Yep, the handles are easy, and relatively cheap. The mirrors on the otherhand, not so much so. trdparts4u comes to mind. But if I'm going thaaat far, it's also time for signals/heaters!

Really! I was reading some last night about the heated mirrors. Would love some with the signals and heat in them!!!

Toyota should take request on what should be included in the accessory packages.

Yeah, I have read through some of the DIYs to get myself ready for the mods, but I am having trouble finding them online to order them. Not really anywhere around here to just walk up and order something like that.

edit: Actually, strike all this. You have an impulse red truck? You're SOL. They don't make color keyed impulse red parts. I think it may be the only color they don't. It's because they don't offer the TRD Sport model in impulse red.

Your only choice is to have everything painted.

Boone is so right. Us owners with Impulse Red trucks got shafted big time. Toyota still has a pic of an Impulse Red TRD on their webpage...and they have the nerve to tell me it's Radiant Red.

The desert sand mica also dosent come in the sport model. 2 colors that got the shaft.

I have a siver also, but i was hopeing to find someone with a base model, i want the black fender flares more than anything, but if i cant find anyone, i may be willing to trade anyway.

I am getting ready to shave my doors so I will have a front set of handles painted Impulse red that I won't need.

Hey bro here's an idea.. the stock door handles are small and weak looking anyway, IMO. The chrome kit covers make them look a lot beefier. So buy those and paint them, then stick them on. It'll look better in the long run and take NO mod time to do.

Well, I have seen the chrome ones, but I know don't know about them. The Impulse Red ones just blend in much better for a sleeker look.

A guy at work yesterday told me that there is a shop near buy that can paint the existing ones to match the color of the truck. I'm going to stop by there and check the process out and see about quality and how long they should last.

I was suggesting PAINTING the chrome handle covers then putting them on. That way you wouldnt have to remove the handles and stuff. All you would need to do is when you get the covers in the mail take them to your paint shop then stickem on.
