There was a thread awhile back on how to toggle the compass off and on the the HUD. Mine has never displayed it but I accidently figured it out the other day. The right side toggle for cruise control on the sterring wheel is the key. The center rh setting on the wheel it the one would would press to start cruise control. When you set the cruise and then turn it off the HUD displays radar ready, if you hit the button again with cruise off to can toggle between compass or radar ready on the HUD. Maybe buried in the manual...but it now works for me.

I googled HUD Compass and one of the links took me to a 2018 post on the subject. Try this link: HUD Compass

For example this post :It is called HUD Driving support. 1st, select the gear icon on the instrument panel by using the up/down arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. Use the right arrow on the steering wheel to navigate to the HUD selection. Once the HUD is selected, HOLD the OK button down until you see a sub menu and select the HUD Driving Support selection. You will then see Tachometer settings, Navigation, Driving Assist, and Compass. Toggle Compass from OFF to ON. This should do it for you.
