Hello TN members,
I would like to contribute to this forum by compiling all the info I have found regarding remote programming. This might help clarify some doubts about programming the different versions of RS3000. This IS NOT my own writting, but rather, I took it from some other forum/website. I take no responsibilities regardless of what happens to your vehicle or the consequences/result of these programming instructions. I am just being kind to compile and share my findings. Please feel free to add anything that I have missed out, or correct the instructions provided if it wrong.

Here you go & good luck trying:

99,98,97 Camry VIP RS3000 alarm (dealer installed 2 button remote)
system. (FCC ID BAB237131-022)

1. Insert key into ignition, turn it to on(not acc)

2. On your ECU unit, gently push the button with the
tip of a paper clip, pen, etc, for about 3 seconds until the light on
the TOYOTA SECURITY panel lights up. You now have about 30 seconds to
press the button on your new remote once) to tell the car to
recognize it.

3. remove key from ignition
4. step out of car and test your remote

For a full manual for this RS3000 system, please refer to skewe's post, link is below:
http://toyotanation.com/forum/t93291.html

99,98,97 Camry VIP RS3000 alarm (factory installed 3 button remote)
system. (FCC ID
GQ43VT7T)

1) With the key OUT of the ignition switch, locate and disconnect the power mirror control switch from the vehicle harness.
2) Using a suitable jumper wire (paper clip works), connect terminal 2 (Purple wire) to terminal 10 (White/Black wire).
The vehicle will cycle the locks once to confirm programming mode. If the vehicle doesn't respond - this prcendure will not work!
3) Press and release any buton on the remote. The vehicle will cycle the locks once to confirm code received.
4) Program additional remotes by repeating step 3
5) Disconnect the jumper to exit programming mode.
6) Reconnect and reinstall the mirror switch

terminal 2 is the second from left, top row terminal (the connecting side of the wiring harness facing you). Terminal 10 is the first terminal from right, bottom row. I hope this helps. Do let us know if you are successful in programming.

For RS3000, yr 2000 Camry, gen4.5

1)All doors unlocked, drivers door open
2)Insert key and remove(do not turn)
3)Lock and unlock doors with button on drivers door 5 times(1 sec intervals)
4)Close drivers door, Open drivers door
5)Lock and unlock doors with button on drivers door 5 times
6)Take key insert and turn to On position then to lock Twice, remove key
7) Locks should cycle lock to unlock by themselves if you completed the sequence properly and it is equipped with keyless entry
In the next 10 secs or so complete the next step :
8) Take the remote and hold lock and unlock buttons at the same time for
about a sec and then press either lock or unlock for a sec. If the
locks cycle the programming was a success.

For SECURIKEY+ system

PROGRAMMING ADDITIONAL or REPLACEMENT TRANSMITTERS

Each SECURIKEY+ system can be operated by up to four (4) different
SECURIKEY+ transmitters. The system is supplied from the factory with two
(2) transmitters included, and additional transmitters are available through
parts distribution. Any new or replacement transmitters will need to be
programmed to the main control module before they will activate the system.
The SECURIKEY+ main control module uses a six (6) channel radio frequency
receiver; each channel controlling a different function of the SECURIKEY+
system. Each transmitter button can be programmed to only one of the
receiver channels (e.g., the GREEN button cannot be programmed to operate
the headlight feature and remote start option; it can operate only one or
the other feature). The following is a list of each receiver channel, and
the function of each channel.

CHANNEL # FEATURE CONTROLLED BY THIS CHANNEL
1 Lock
2 Unlock
3 Trunk Release (optional kit required; not available on all models)
4 30 second headlight activation (only if required by GREEN button)
5 Remote panic (only if required by GREEN button instead of LOCK
button)
6 Remote start (optional kit required; not available on all models)

To program new or additional transmitters, or when adding options to
existing SECURIKEY+ transmitters, follow the step by step programming
instructions found below. When programming, it is important to complete each

leasuance has a tad more complicated of an issue than i thot. First off the oem remote he has looks nothing like ours. Then the remote he got off of ebay looks like a gen 5 remote, or at least the current ones used on highlanders, 4 runners etc. So thats not compatible, plus he got an american remote which makes it a dud too.

I took a look at his connectors and the pins are not the same as ours, although he said that it loocked the doors when he connected the jumperwire to the "correct" pins. So i can only think that the remote he got is no good, or that door loocking was just the system spazzing out.

leasaunce, can you find the ecu unit on your alarm? Coz, that can tell you a lot about which remote you should have(info on the top of the ecu unit). Plus, it will give you more details when you call the fujitsu ten people. I just gave them a call and they were very helpful.

They should be able to be reprogramed to a car that has the same specifications...basically there are remotes for after dealer installed systems and facotry installed systems...so if your remote is for factory then it'll be reprogramed to another facotory system.
