Hello everyone,

Apologies if this is a known issue and has been answered before.

My rear power window doesn’t roll up and falls into the door if you roll it down past halfway so I took the door apart and noticed that the track that attaches to the glass fell off. I can’t find the specific part I’m looking for. I found the part in the assembly drawing but it seems like it only comes with the glass as one part (see photo).

Does anyone know if this part can be purchased separately?

This part is part of the glass. The best thing to do, is go to the junkyard and get the part. Not sure what type of adhesive is used on the metal piece.

If the track is still OK and the glass is still OK why not reattach? Permatex Ultra Black gasket maker sticks like CRAZY and would work. Make sure to get rid of any old adhesive from the track or glass first.

I’ve thought of doing that but the track is pretty rusty where it attaches to the glass so I was hoping I could just get a new one. Might just have to reuse it or go to the junkyard.

It probably came off due to the rust and the scrap yard one may or may not be any better..........but lets hope.
