Sorry if this post is too irrelevant. I tried to search the forum but I couldn't find any post about the cargo hooks for the Corolla 2019-2020 sedan. There is no hooks in my sedan boot so it's quite annoyed to have the shopping bags move around freely. I was wondering if the sedan in the US and Canada come with the installed hooks. I am thinking to find the aftermarket ones or it would even better if I can get the Toyota genuine ones and have them installed. Thank you!

You can actually install 4 hooks. The default position is in the upper spots but my dealership was able to install hooks in the lower section as well. I hang my net from the lower hooks and shopping bags etc from the upper ones works great.

As an alternative, you can add some hooks to the headrests. I added these to my hatch. I am able to hang several bags now.
I had similar hooks installed in my Dodge Charger, so they also work with a sedan.

Good luck

Exco
Hi Exco, thanks for your suggestions. I went to a Toyota dealer today and they checked their computer and told me that I don't have anything like that. They asked me to try to use those hooks from my Camry and if they fit then they can get me those ones. I will try tomorrow, but they look way too big for the Corolla plugs.

I have a 2020 Corolla L and it did not come with the hooks. The cargo net doesn't come with the hooks, either. The parts counterman had to look up the Toyota part number for the hooks, it is: PT347-02140-AA. Two hooks and the captive nuts are included under that part number. Cost was about $5. Takes about ten minutes to install, you release the upper plastic fasteners shown in the photos posted above, gently pry the interior panel away from the metal support, install the captive nuts (they slide over the metal support edge), then screw in the hooks.

Thanks for the information with the part number. I will call my local Toyota dealer with this part number to see if they have them.

I have the OEM grooved all-weather trunk liner in my sedan & that thing has such "sticky" rubber construction that nothing placed on it moves around. Works for me.

Actually, I just bought a cargo net and it came with the hooks inside the zipped pouch. 10 minute install, very easy.

I'm not sure why my net didn't come with the hooks, it's a genuine Toyota version from my dealer, p/n PT347-02200. Zippered pouch design as you described. The package was still factory sealed, it didn't look like someone had opened it and taken the hardware out. When I returned to the dealer to ask about buying the hooks, the parts guy even checked a few other net packages and couldn't feel the hooks in the packages, he assumed that Toyota wasn't including them with the nets anymore.

Well, with the part numbers for the net and hooks, you may be able to find an online vendor willing to ship to Australia. The net is pretty useful, I use it all the time. Plan B might be to see if there might be a generic aftermarket net available, and then check with a wrecking yard (breakers?) to see if any other Toyota sedans have the hooks and get those. Although a generic net might come with mounting hooks.
