Hi everyone, just bought myself my first car a few weeks ago, a 2004 Matrix XR with (roughly) 310k km's and a 5 speed manual for a solid price of 1500$.
I have a couple questions about the car.
Whenever I pass 2800 rpm's with medium throttle, there is a loud whistle that only gets louder that comes from the car... Doesn't cause any performance or driving issue, just a loud whistle. What could this be?
I've got someone in my neighbourhood parting out a 2005 Matrix. I was interested in maybe buying the clear lens taillights that the 2005+ models come with. Would they fit on my 2004?
I have no record of when the transmission oil was done on this car. Should I get it done myself? How bad of a job is it and what oil do I have to buy?
