Hey i wanna get a cowl hood for my 94 pickup i know the company up22.com makes a fiberglass complete hood for $309 but i dont want a fiberglass hood fading and cracking i just dont want it does anyone know of a metal cowl hood for the 89-95s or at least maybe a metal cowl hood scoop that will fit the stock hoods to weld on any pictures?

anyway... I want the fenders, bedsides, and hood from that blue truck.



fenders and bedsides... cuz when i go IRS, i'll be slammed flush on 18's wrapped in some meaty tires.... WIDE.
hood.... because i want a Lexus xUZ-FE under the hood and i want more under it :D

You can get a real or fake add-on hood scoops from JC Whitney, StylinTrucks, TruckAddOns, or tons of other places if you just look.

hey slacker, got a question. have the fiberglass/wood beds been tested for wieght? what i mean, when i go 4 wheelin i usually have 2 bikes standing on end in the box. (about 800 pounds plus gear). i like the idea of fiberglass because it doesnt fall apart in the salt, im just not sure of how tough the box is for haulin stuff.

YES , easily ... it will carry what ever the stock bed will .. 1 reason we use the wood core. another reason is for weight .. OUR beds weigh exactly the same as the factory bed , so there is no differance in the shock/spring rates . Our beds also have an inner wall (double wall design) so anything "rolling" around in the bed will do no damage to the outer wall
