Hey all,
Tonight I ended up on ice and was thankfully able to aim the car to a “safe” place to go off the road - in between a telephone pole and street sign - but the 6’ ditch wasn’t kind to the car. The bumper is smashed, the metal framing for the radiator(s) is bent but that’s all the damage. Nothing leaking.

I now have the red triangle, a circle with parentheses around it and an exclamation in the middle, VSC, and the airbag light (airbags did not deploy) this is obviously very saddening.

There was no check engine light but I found a “stored” p0303 misfire cylinder 3 that wasn’t there when I got the car less than 1,000 miles ago.

I can’t see any damage underneath. What I am hoping is that there is a way to reset these things. If push came to shove I could get a hold of Toyota TIS but I’ve been successful with Lexus and Toyota in the past with a paper clip and various sequences of actions to reset ABS VSC etc.

The SRS code is “31”

Please help

I am very blessed to report that it was a fault in both the SRS and HV controllers, both pointing to the fact that they lost communication with eachother. I deleted the codes and have driven 20 trouble-free miles =)

the only damage is a small bend in the radiator cradle - not enough to damage anything nor enough to fuss with - and an obliterated bumper. The lower grill appears to be reusable!
