those tips are not what makes an exhaust sound bad. its the resonator or muffler behind it. tips do nothing to affect the sound, theyre basically for your visual preference.

Those tips I posted are resonated tips by pacesetter. If you go to their site you will see they sell both resonated and non resonated tips. Trust me, I had one on a previous car for two days then I couldn't take the noise anymore.

intake also has a lot to do with sound, on my corsica, i had gutted the cats... no muffler... cuz it rusted off (reliable car though, even though it doesnt sound it, lol). And it just made this deep rumbling exhaust note... after i installed my intake... well... shit was louder than a lot of diesel trucks out there
