The positive terminal connected to my battery was so corroded it started to crack so i bought a new terminal. After getting the crap off of it and removed it (took about an hour, the nut was stuck from corrosion) there were rings on the wires. They were too far gone as well, and the terminal i have doesn't use the rings. I cut the wire right below the ring and I wish I hadn't now because it no longer reaches the terminal on top of the battery.

Its the black and red wire. Is this going to be a hassle to replace? Is there some type of extension I could put on the wire to make it reach? It needs less than a half inch.
