I know.. I am one of the 5% who actually wants a car with a manual transmission.. hence my disappointment in reading in one of the car mags that the iQ will be available only with a CVT.

I think the car could be much more fun with a sporty, light throwing 5 or even 6 spd manual.

I agree and i'm sure that with time, they might impliment a manual trans, but they'll test the waters first.

More and more vehicles are coming "one way only". It streamlines the production process and is more profitable. It does suck for those of us who might like to buy a manual trans version.
