Ok, for a while, whenever I would turn the wheel to the left there would be a click from behind the left front wheel. This morning, no clicks when turning, but when accelerating it did. Later, to see what part was clicking, I had someone turn the wheel when in park, and the car moved 2 inches when turning left and right (no clicks). So what part is bad?
cv boot is what covers the joint from your axle to the wheel base.. when your car bounces it has a ball joint and will adjust to your suspension.
When your boot is gone or bad dirt and crap gets inside and will mess up the grease and cause it to dry up.
so when you turn your cv joints are not lubricated enough so your now getting the clicking effect... cuz its touching metal to metal and not lubricated.
Go get it checked.. from your symptoms that you mentions its the cv joint which mean you must have a torn cv boot.
if anything and worse come to worse you mite as well replace that axle... its like $50 bucks more....
but the click will only appear when your turn harsh or at high speeds or even at acceleration in your case..
