Hey all. I did a search and I've decided to go with the DDM HID's since a lot of you guys here are running them but I notice that there is http://www.ddmtuning.com/ & http://ddmhid.com/index.html Are they the same company? I notice that both sites offer the Lifetime warranty but the prices of the kits are different. I'm going with the 35 watt, 6000K.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/ has the kit for $35.00 for the ballasts & the bulbs.

http://ddmhid.com/index.html has the kit for $119.00 for the ballasts, bulbs & pnp harness.

Sorry for the newbie queston but I want to be sure I get the correct kit.

Thanx in advance.

Go with the one from the first site (http://www.ddmtuning.com/). I purchased the Apexcone 35W 5000k H11 from their site, and was recommended this from the people here when I asked a couple months ago. Everything works fine, shipping took a couple weeks. I didn't get a wire harness, since it's not really necessary, but some people recommend it. Good luck :)

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the http://www.ddmtuning.com/ site. They look more official. Thanx.

Yeah, I'd rather go with the slim kit than the Apexcone Raptor kit.

I just ordered mine on Tuesday and got them yesterday. 2 days!
I ordered the H11 35w 6000k Raptor ($25). Install took less than 20 minutes.
Wow. That's fast shipping.

I'm still waiting for mine, ordered last weekend. 9006 35w Raptor kit 4500K

Why didn't you guys get harnesses? I was always told to never get hids without the harness. For the people with the harness, how is your wire/ ballast set up?

^ lucky you Black... for me I have to take the whole bumper off. Placed the two kits at a nice secure location, wire it up and mount back the bumper. After putting in 2 screws and I thought maybe I should try it out to make sure. Both light didn't turn on. Take back down the bumper and tried it over 30mins. Log online and check out the troubleshoot and they said the polarity might be reverse. Go back outside and do the incorrect way plugging and BAM it was ON. Put back the bumper and found it was in incorrectly. Had to correct it a few times. Now finally it is PERFECT!!!

I need a beer. :D But first, gotta have dinner.

ddmtuning.com is actual ddm website. The other website you listed is NOT them. That is just copy cat wannabes that want to earn profit. I can vouch for DDM kits. Work 100% perfect

My 2-year old HID bulb finally burnt out last week. After looking around - locally, ebay, and online, i think i might try DDM Tuning also. Seems like a lot of guys on the forums are using them, and are satisfied with it. Hows the lifetime warranty?

Not sure about warranty since mine havent burnt out yet. Went with the 35watt slim ballasts with 5k bulbs in h11 and got the wire harness. Never had a problem and 5k is perfect imo, plus their kits are super cheap and great quality.

Does anyone's bulbs turn on at different times? My right side bulb (passenger side) always ignites a half second later than my driver side bulb. Also, when I start the car, the passenger side bulb turns off and on again, while the driver side bulb slightly dims.

I think I have this issue because while installing my passenger side bulb, it was a very, very tight twist, while the driver side bulb was an easy install.

Other than that, my DDM kit is a winner. I love it, cheap in price, but not in quality.

Thanks!
