2020 Hybrid. Dead battery. Electric parking brake engaged. Can't roll car out of garage to jump start. I did pop the little cover and move the shifter to neutral. How do I get the car out of my garage so I can reach it with my jumper cables? Note: I didn't check to see if there was a way to open the rear hatch manually. Could probably jump start from there.

From what I read, a dead battery on this vehicle is more common than it should be. So I'll be getting that checked out anyway. Otherwise, I've been very happy with it.

An expensive solution is to just replace the battery with a new one.

Bosip's solution ^^^ would work, or, buy 20' jump start cables, so you can reach battery from rear, or batter CHARGER, or just buy & install a new battery.

I did see a previous post where someone had same problem with electric parking brake. I think there was a solution, but don't remember it now. Search function is your friend.
Good Luck

Head to the dealer there is a DCM update. The DCM is killing the battery this won’t be the last time if you don’t get it updated. Also to jump I am pretty sure there is a red positive access in the fuse box under the hood that you can hook a positive lead to and ground on the engine block.

I have seen this discussed but don't recall specifics. Check the below vid. Not sure it will apply, but may want to google. Also, check owner's manual.

Bozick has the right answer. Call the dealer and have them send road side service, covered under warranty, and do the DCM update.

T-SB-0095-20 applies to 2020 models and maybe some 2021s. Not to 2019s.

Open rear door, fold down seat, climb in over seat and go for the rear of the trunk of the car. start pulling up and discarding covers. Battery under passenger side rear, jump/charge at battery terminals. Only way I can imagine to do it. And assumes you have a really long and thick set of jumpers.

And there is a trunk release somewhere back there. You unscrew a cover on the trunk lid and manually release the lock. Covered in the manual at the end of the trunk functions section with pictures.
