diesel truck

Does Toyota produce a light diesel truck? I need something that gets decent miles per gallon and capable of hauling small amounts of construction and demolition materials.

i dont think they make any new models like that that you dont have to custom order i knew back in the 80's they had a diesel truck, there hard to find but exist somewhere

I know that the "hilux" is available in other countries with a diesel, but for some reason, the US doesn't like diesels and so Toyota doesn't offer one here. You might be able to import one? That might be a pain and spendy though.
