Queston: Does the differential on the 2006 Camry LE with 2.4 engine share the oil supply with the transmission? I have the downloaded shop manual that used to be on this site a few years ago, but I cannot find that info.
OK, let me elaborate. My 1992 Corolla has a separate place to fill and check the oil for the transaxle differential. This area or reservoir is separated by 2 seals on the input shaft to the differential. Some transaxles, such as the one in my 1985 Plymouth Caravelle shared the same oil. I found out the hard way on the Corolla, if you drain oil out 2 places you better put oil in 2 places. So, what I am asking is the transaxle in the Camry set up the same way as the Corolla?
