I installed the same ones. Very bright. I like the LEDs. You can definitely tell which ones are LEDs and which are halogen. Thanks for the post. I don't think I would have figured out that the plastic piece just pops off to get to the bolts. Took less than 20 min to install.
Yea, it took me a bit first to figure that out too. Lol

I just installed my LED bulbs that I had from my 4Runner from LasFit for the blinkers. The 4Runner bulbs were used for the parking lights as well on the front, but they will work just fine for just blinkers too. The rear were just blinkers which matches the Ebay/Amazon link below for them.

Make note, the OEM bulbs are dual filament 7443, but the car only uses one part of the bulb for blinkers only. You can use both a 7440 or 7443 bulb.

Tools:
1 - 10mm Socket
1 - Short Extension
1 - Rachet or small impact driver.
1 - Plastic Pry tool
2 - LasFit or Sirius LED bulbs with built in resistors for front.

Purchase from Ebay (offer $10 less and they usually accept). LASFIT 7440 LED Turn Signal Lights Amber for Toyota 4Runner Camry Corolla Sienna | eBay

Or Amazon

Alternate (smaller in size)

1. Open the hatch.
2. Remove the plastic shroud that covers the two 10mm bolts for the taillight.

3. Remove the two top 10mm bolts.

4. Pop the headlight back towards the rear of the car. It will release suddenly with some force. Once removed, be careful to not hit your paint with any sharp edges. The grey socket, twist it counter clockwise to remove it from the housng and pull out.

5. Once out, replace the factory bulb with one of the LED LasFit bulbs from above by pulling it straight out and push in the new one.

6. Once replaced, put it back in the housing, and twist it clockwise to lock. Next put the wiring back in its slot to hold it out of the way on the back of the housing, and then push the housing back into the slot of the car making sure you catch the front plastic hook with the front of the light. It'll snap back in.

7. Put the two 10mm bolts back in and tighten it down. Once complete, Put the shroud cover back on the same way it came off.

Done. Here is a complete picture and video.

These lights are bright, work great on my '21 Highlander Hybrid. Now looking to install a slim light bar under my front license plate for when I'm in the sticks and it's pitch dark out. Have on mounted on my sedan and it's a must for me.

You have the option of using the place where the front tow eyelet use to be to insert additional lights.

Does anyone know if the plastic shroud that hides the 10mm bolts for the tail light is available separately from the tail light assembly? I made the mistake of changing my bulbs while it was -21 outside and the second one cracked upon removal.

Ordered some 7443D for my front blinkers and less than 24 hrs later they stopped working. LasFit didnt believe me so I sent them a video of their lights not flashing and then I replaced them with the factory bulb (no issues with those). They're sending me another set, but I'm wondering if those are the appropriate bulbs given that they have T10 listed for the Trunk light which wont fit, incorrect size.

How did you get the black cover off in step 2? I can’t get it to release and I don’t want to break anything.

Where you see the red pry tool you can honestly just put your fingers in there and pull it out. To the left or right depending on the side. It comes off easy. If I need to do a video for you let me know.

Thank you for the quick reply. I also found another video. I can’t get it off easily but I’m afraid to break something. My stepdad is coming to the rescue. I’m going to still try to do it myself with him here. My husband had surgery a couple days ago and I need to get the light replaced after I backed in to a parked semi that was blocking parked cars. Side note: My back up camera showed I was fine and does not register the open space under the semi. 😀 I have the part and aside from that black cover it looks easy enough.
