Sorry for the late response, if anyone is still on the fence about getting these Auxito bulbs, I made a video review documenting my experience between Lasfit and the Auxito blacks that I'm running now. What a difference!

I also ordered the Auxito's as the Lasfit's start to hyper flash after a few mins.
Auxitos have been solid since I put them in. Haven’t seen a hyper flash yet.

Curious why you didn't replace the other bulbs while you had the taillight off?
There isn’t anything else to replace in the outer tail light housings.
We have the turn signals , tail light and brake light.
The tail light and brake light are proprietary LED modules. They’re using yellow SMD LED that are coated red so they give off an amber light.

These modules are replaceable as there’s a part number for them.

Thanks. I'll have to check my 2020 and see if maybe they changed it from 2020 to 2021... my girlfriends 2022 has more standard LEDs in her RAV than I had in my 2020 Highlander.

I installed the Auxito Blacks and very happy with them. No hyperflash even running after 15 mins. Plenty bright too without blinding the car infront/behind me

I ordered them directly from Auxito’s website.
The ebay seller doesn’t ship to Canada.
I figured any warranty claim would be easier if bought direct.

I’ve replaced mine with the auxito ones recommended above. They have been solid with no more hyper flash. I definitely recommend them over the lasfit ones now.

Question for you both:

I recently purchased the Auxito bulbs that were linked in the posts on the previous page:

I got them in the mail today and noticed that they don't work for the parking light function for the front turn signal bulbs.

They work fine for the turn signal function- but they don't seem to include the ability to provide two levels of light- one for the parking light and the other for the turn signal function.

Is that similar to the ones that you received?

I tried to find a similar bulb on Auxito's website that includes both functions... but none seem to be the same bulb design of the ones that everyone says doesn't hyperflash.

You must have an LE or XLE? The light operation is a little different between some trims.
The XSE , Limited and Platinum don’t have that feature where the turn signals come on with the parking lights. They only come on as turn signals.

The Auxito are “single filament” 7440 bulbs so you need 7443 “dual filament” bulbs so they can have 2 triggers. One for your turn signal and the other for parking lights.

I too have an XLE but I wouldn't mind using the bulb solely for the turn signal. I didn't find the parking light useful and at the same time, the orange lighting in the facia looks tacky imo.

@lightfreak, will it cause any harm or potential fire if I were to install single filament 7440 bulb instead of 7443 dual filament?

Actually I just looked them over again they are 7443, I think you need a resistor inline on the parking light circuit. This needs more research.
You guys may need to go up a tier and get VLED Triton switchbacks.

@tomboylols can’t say for sure , is the parking light not coming on at all with these bulbs or coming on dim? If you swap the polarity around does the other function now work?

The parking lights aren't coming on at all- just the turn signal. If I switch the polarity it's the same.

I pulled an Auxito bulb out of my car today and they’re actually 7440 bulbs, there’s only one set of trigger pins , whereas a 7443 bulb has 2 sets.
When you swapped the bulb around these pins are still engaging the same set of contacts in the socket so only the turn signal works but not the parking light. Being anti-polarity bulbs they don’t care which way they’re inserted. So my initial suspicion was correct.

I would probably go external resistor with quality brand bulbs vs trying to experiment with lesser unknown brands with resistors built-in. Maybe fire off an email to Auxito and see if they can make an actual 7443 version. They are quite nice as they don’t hyperflash or overheat at all.

These auxito bulbs shows 7443. Are they not?
