Hey guys, looking to get some feedback on my latest project.
I designed and printed a bezel for my Amazon Fire Tablet in order to integrate it into my dash and use it as a head unit.

I think something that would be interesting with this is to make an interchangeable headunit. With this, I mean that there could be the main headunit dock and then adapters for phones and tablets that go into it. For the wiring (I'm assuming USB and AUX), you can just have them "free floating" so that they aren't specific to each device adapter. It'd be similar to my CD magnetic mount with the wires all around except it would be enclosed. The only "downside" of this could just be a lot of bezel but that would be because it is "universal" to phone and tablet sizes. An Iphone 4 would have a lot of bezel but a 10.1" Samsung Galaxy Tablet would have less.

I can see the idea in my mind, it's just hard to put it into words. Best way to describe it is like my magnet mount but fully enclosed. It would also just be less work for you since you only have to design the adapter to fit the phone and tablet.
