perform this mod at your own risk I will not be held responsible if you brick your IP Cluster!

first off you want to gently pull the plastic cover off of the IP Cluster

After pulling the plastic cover off the dash you need to unclip four little tabs holding the plastic cover to the upper steering column cover

After you have the harness removed from the back of the IP cluster you are now free to remove the cluster out ov the vehicle Besire you work on a nice even and clean seface

Next you want to gently push down on the clear tabs holding the clear plastic face to the IP Cluster remember do not rush or force the peices apart

now repeat the previous steps to remove the black hood from the IP cluster

your cluster should now look like this

next use either a plastic body panel too or two flat blade screwdrivers to pop up the needles off the cluster face please be sure to either draw a diagram or take a pic of where your needles rest

now that you have all you needles off and stored in a safe place you can begin with the plastic tabs around the body of the cluster itself, this is needed to seperate the two white plastic halves of the cluster body

note that there are two tabs on the back side of the cluster as well ( Be Gentle)

now seperate the case

now you have gained access to the back ov the circuit board

gently lift up on the board note that there may be a small tab holding it in so if it does not come right out look around the edges of the board once you have to board free flip it over

to gain access to the LEDs behind the digital display you will need to undo these clips and gently pull it off the circuit board

make note that the little fingers on the back of the display that mate with the board are verry small and can be bent verry easily so please be extra carefull when removing or installing this peice on the board

you now have access to the LEDs behind the display as well as the rest of the board

at this point I like to plug just the circuit board back into the car to confirm what LEDs need to be changed

after that I carefully remove the LEDs that are being changed and re solder the new ones in their place, it is a good tip to write down the locaton of each LED the is a letter and nimber reference next to each LED this way as you work you can check off each one you do so there is no confusion, After the LEDs are swaped you can reinstall the display and power it up in the car once again to confirm your new LEDs work after all you only want to do this once

now just carefully reverse all the step you followed to dissassemble the cluster it goes together quite easily you may want to use some glass cleaner and wipe down the clear plastic face before putting that back on so it is nice and clean inside and out now that the cluster is all put back together reinstall it and you are good to go
