Thanks I believe they are white. If I have some time at work this week, I'll rig up something to test the LEDs to see what color they are. I kept all the LEDs that i removed and labeled them, so I can tell you what color is where.Nice work =)
Could you possibly tell me the color of the original LED's? just want to know what color it is. Thanks
Me neither, I wish I could make them white. The color in the needle comes from a piece of red paper or material that is inside the needle so you would have to replace the needle itself. Next time I take the needles off to replace more LEDs, I'll look at the needle to see if it's possible to change it.i want to change the needles color or the whole needles, i really dont feeling the orange needles, i want it while or blue. anyone know how to do it?
I have near a full tank of gas and the first time, just stuck the needle on. The needle ended up going only half way. when I took the unit back out and tried to spin the needle, I had put it on with half of the rotation of the gauge too far below the Empty line.Don't you have to mark the fuel gauge needle or else once you put them back in, the needle will be off which cause inaccurate fuel reading.
Thanks. They are PLCC2 SMD LEDs.What size are the LEDS? Will be linking this on the Master LED List
