Do they sell the Toyota Avensis in the US?

They no longer sell the Camry in the UK, i think it was replaced with the Avensis a few years ago although the Avensis is cheaper than the Camry.

Does the Avensis look like the Camry sold in the US or is it a new design and not based on it?

No, we have never had the Avensis here. Although, I do like it. If I had the $ I'd import one for shits and giggles. I thought I had a pic I took of one on my laptop, but I don't.

I dont know why they stopped selling the Camry here, maybe because it was quite expensive when it was sold. The Avensis is alot cheaper than the Camry was sold for.

Starts at £14,000 and goes up to £23,000.

Cars are more expensive in the UK, for example a Toyota Yaris starts at £8,000 and goes up to £13,000 which is $26,000 with the current exchange rate.

Yeah, it's the taxes you guys get that kill you. My best friend is actually from GB. The starting price for your Avensis is almost the price of a top of the line maxed out Camry here.

Yeah, and it doesnt help paying over $7/gallon

Yeah, you guys get killed with it. It's only around $1.30 a Euro in spain, like $5 a gallon or so. As soon as they make cars that run on water, you guys will be happy, :lol:. Sure get enough rain there.
