Ok guys. Really thinking of getting a corolla. 04-06 used (cheaper). 5 or 6 speed. Fully loaded (never had a fully loaded car before). So what are your thoughts comparing the two?

What neon? Your Neon, or an SRT-4? Because the SRT-4 > any new 'Rolla.
But I'd take an XRS over any neon other than an SRT-4.

the xrs is pretty good, 170 horsies w/ the help of the celica engine and 0-6 in 7 seconds add that with how long toyotas last and their resale value and you just cant beat it

Get an 05-06'. Or if you really wanted to wait for 07? But 05's options and all that are soo much cooler than the 04s

once you figure in car cost you save i think at least a thousand or more. power on a corolla s would be 170 which is the same as the xrs version. only with the supercharger your getting more torque still. you wouldn't have to run premium gas either. as for mpg it really all depends on how you drive the car.
