My wife's Corolla'04 is acting up, dome light stays on all the time, checked all 4 door switches - they are fine, I don't know if I need to check fuses, if it was not on I'd understand, although I really not into cars, but don't want to take it to dealer. Please, I'll take anything, any solution/suggestion.

First , there is no switch on the light itself in 2004 corolla, second I tried to push those pins on each door by hand and saw that “doors are open” light on dashboard are turning on and off. I think I’ll try to take off those door switches one by one disconnecting them and see if any of those are shorting or faulty.
Thanks for reply

There is a switch on the left side of the steering wheel, it could have got bumped by accident. Here is a pic of it, it is the wheel on the far left, it also controls the backlight of the speedometer. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e64/OdyMan/Corolla/IMG_0305.jpg

In the meantime it would be a good idea to remove the dome light if you did not already, so it doesn't kill your battery.
