Door lock/unlock sound

I have a 2006 Sienna and when I lock or unlock the doors, there is no audible sound anymore. It has been working fine but gradually the sound got lower and then I couldn't hear it anymore. We had a wreck about 6 months ago (front of car rear ended another in the back). So this might be a delayed reaction.

Has anyone had this problem? Maybe it is electrical?
