I've decided to replace the lock actuators and window motors in my 02 Tacoma. They're fairly anemic in cold weather. I've tried to break the code on the replacement parts for a few hours, and it's possibly more complicated than I thought.
1. Door lock actuators. $75-80 each. But I keep seeing "left rear" and "right rear" in the part descriptions.
2. Power window motor. Keep reading "without regulator". Aren't people complaining of too much regulation these days?
I see the brands Toyota, Standard and Airtex for locks. I see Dorman, Cardone and ACDelco for windows.
If anyone can keep me from shooting myself in the foot I'd appreciate it.
